Continuing
with the process of a Quality and Environmental Management
System that CATOR began in June 2000 with the
certification UNE-EN-ISO 14001:1996, our
company has renewed this certificate in April 2007
awarded by the LGAI
Certification Centre for Collection, Analysis, Control, Storage,
Treatment and Selling using a regeneration process of
industrial and automotive waste oils..
In
this way we continue demonstrating our company's commitment
to a correct environmental management, in the form
of defining an environmental policy, identifying and
evaluating environmental aspects and the establishment
of environmental management programs with the aim
of controlling significant environmental aspects.

Environmental
Policy
All
of CATOR'S activities are conceived to completely resolve
in the most respectful manner towards the environment the
serious problem presented in the management and elimination
of a waste product so abundant and dangerous as is used
mineral oil.
The
environmental policy of CATOR aims to minimize the environmental
impact of all our activities, so that in the waste and emissions
produced by CATOR the reuse, valorization or minimization
are prioritized, so that sustainable development may be
obtained from the design, construction and exploitation
of our activity.
CATOR
has adopted the commitment to minimize the impact on the
environment via the following aims.
Fulfill CATOR's Environmental Impact Declaration, as well
as all the laws, regulations and legislation applicable.
Apart from their extensive cooperation with Administration,
Professional associations, chambers of commerce, producers
and the media to sensitize and promote laws and practical
guides to protect natural resources an the environment.
Minimize
the generation of waste and emissions. Those produced will
be disposed of in the place and in the way most appropriate
for the environment according to the procedure established,
and will be released to authorized waste disposal agents, according
to the law in force.
To
continue incorporating new technology that will make the
fulfillment of these aims possible.
In
order to guarantee the best environmental policy, all CATOR
employees must know the environmental impact produced by
all the activities, the requirements and procedures applicable
to their active participation in the policy of minimization.
Carry
out revisions with the aim of assuring the fulfillment of
this policy, and the continual improvement of CATOR's environmental
behaviour.
It
is part of CATOR's strategy to improve and protect the environment,
and therefore we count on the active participation of each
one of our workers, who are individually and collectively
responsible for our behaviour via our commitment to continually
improve the environment.
In
order to show these commitments, we will continue to publish
these policies and the details of our environmental behaviour
in our Annuals, which are available to anyone interested,
and to the general public, prior request.
