order to assure the quality of our products and the
environmental management of the company, CATOR
decided in 1999 to set up an Integral Management System
which obtained the UNE-EN-ISO 9002:94 certificate
in March 2000 in Collection, Analysis, Control,
Storage, Treatment and Selling using a regeneration
process of industrial and automotive waste oils, awarded by the LGAI
Certification centre.
In
April 2007 CATOR has actualised the
certification with the ISO
9001:2000, what means an improvment of our
enterprise and the Environment.

Quality
Policy
Within the general policy
of CATALANA DE TRACTAMENT D'OLIS RESIDUALS S.A. (CATOR S.A.),
the setup of a Quality Assurance System is a priority, as
described in this Quality and Environmental Management Manual.
This
implies:
-
The collection and efficient transmission of the needs
and specifications of clients.
- The
development of the improvement of quality with our suppliers,
encouraging mutual understanding of problems in order
to obtain continuous improvement in the quality and reliability
of supplies.
- That
all personnel know their duties perfectly and have the
necessary means to carry them out.
- The
technical means, organization and training to achieve
an optimal degree of auto control
- A
system of internal assessment and the analysis of non-conformities
to guarantee the functioning of the terms stated in this
manual.
- The
promotion of the participation of the personnel of CATOR
to carry out the improvement of quality.
- The
assurance of the quality of the administrative service,
both internally and to suppliers, clients, banks, etc.
- The
use of errors as a starting point to determine and eliminate
their causes and avoid their repetition.
The fulfillment of these aims is the responsibility of the
General Management, who undertakes to promote, fulfill and
make other fulfill this policy, and to evaluate it periodically
in order to assure, by means of the revisions necessary,
the functioning of the terms established in this Quality
and Environmental Management Manual.
