DESCRIPTION
OF THE PROCESS
Each
of the processes works in the following way:
UNLOADING
AND RECEPTION |
| All
used oil is received in cistern lorries, analyzed
and classified. According to the results, it is
passed on to the conditioning
unit or to rejection |
REJECTION |
All
used oil that is NOT SUITABLE for re-refining
is rejected, this may be due to: |
presence
of PCBs |
other
pollutants |
Rejected
oil is referred to an authorized waste manager. |
CONDITIONING |
Storage
of used oil SUITABLE for the re-refining
process. |
This
oil is treated in the following way: |
water
settling |
centrifuging |
preheating
for feeding to plant |
DISTILLATION
The
used oil is passed on to distillation and fractionating
through a series of modules. From this part the following
are obtained: |
water
is treated in a WWTP
spindle
distilled
oils |
asphalt
bitumen, that is used for manufacturing
waterproofing materials or asphalt for roads.
FINAL
TREATMENT |
The
distilled oils and spindle are received and conditioned,
thus producing: |
distilled
oils : top quality base oils, that are
commercialized to manufacturers of lubricants,
to generate new motor and industrial lubricants. |
spindle,
that is used to generate
plant energy self-consumption |
SALTS |
Receives
the reaction water from the final
treatment from which salts suitable for
use as fertilizers are produced, which are commercialized
to fertilizer manufacturers. |
WWTP |
Wastewater
treatment plant, the wastewater comes from: |
Once
this water has been treated, it is used in the plant's
refrigeration systems (self-consumption) |
HEAT
GENERATION |
Produces
the necessary energy (heat) for all processes. It uses
the spindle produced in the plant as fuel once it has
been conditioned. |
